Yesterday something very odd happened during my presence.
Did you know they sell bootlegged films on Vienna's streets? You probably guessed, but did you know that people are wandering around with a rather huge collection from Barbie
to Sin City
offering them to you while you're having lunch?
My friend Philipp, who is also my very own violent fluffy puff, wrote about it in the Vienna Metroblog:
Today, I went shopping with a good friend, and after some bartering and work, we decided to let the day end with some nice food, so we went to a restaurant near Mariahilferstraße. After a few minutes of eating and talking, an old man with a small trolley, a few dvds in his hand. He approached one table after another, offering bootlegs of all current cinema movies for 5€ a piece. Now, mostly everyone knows that you can buy those underhand at Naschmarkt and other places, but a travelling salesman, that was something new.
Amusing.
Apart from that, I'm sorry for my complete lack of posting in the last month. I've actually prepared and finished a lot but never got around to post it. I hope I'll have enough self-discipline to put proper content (unlike this uncreative linkblogging) online soon.
